Session One - The value and sustainability of the whale and dolphin watching tourism
industry and the benefits of regional cooperation

Format: Presentations followed by facilitated discussion

This session explored, through introductory presentations and discussion, the benefits
(e.g. economic, social) of whale and dolphin watching tourism, the link between ecological
sustainability and sustainable tourism, leadership of women and the benefits of regional
cooperation for a sustainable whale and dolphin watching tourism industry.
